OPERATION SONSHINE - Exciting News

oper_sonshineOperation "Son"shine is the Mission's street outreach feeding program taken to the inner city community. We distribute meals, food boxes, clothing, blankets, rain ponchos, and toiletries. Volunteers arrive at 10AM and prepare lunch for the residents at 19 Bliss Street as well as making 100+ meals to be passed out to the homeless around the city. Most importantly, volunteers encourage the homeless and poor. They pray with them, love them, and interact with them in their own environment. They may encounter a homeless man, a young mother, or a group of children. Whoever they meet up with, they are a blessing! After distributing all the meals, volunteers return to the Mission, clean the van and kitchen and finish up around 2:00PM. Individual volunteers and groups of 5 or less are encouraged to donate their time. Contact the Mission at 413-732-0808 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
